Due to COVID-19, all Youth formation programs have been suspended. Please check the calendar or mid-week newsletter for information on available programming and Zoom links.
We value high-quality spiritual education for all ages. In normal years, All Saints provides programming for adults, kids, and youths every Sunday during the school year! During the school year, we worship at 8am and 10am, with formation for adults and teens at 9am and Sunday School for youngsters at 10am. Read below for more information, or contact our parish office at 708-246-0030 to ask questions or to register.
Lead by a fabulous and seasoned volunteer staff, our "one room schoolhouse" format allows children of many ages to grow and learn together with stories, crafts, and independent "work" time. This class is most appropriate for kindergarten through grade-school youth, but no one is turned away! We begin at 10am most Sundays, and children return to their parents in "big church" by the time we take communion. This is a great way to introduce children to the basics of Christian faith and the stories of Jesus. (Rather stay with your parents? Coloring sheets that correspond with the day's readings are available in the sanctuary for little hands that can't be coaxed upstairs.)
A mainstay of Sundays at All Saints, our lively adult forum (open to kids in high school, too) meets at 9am every Sunday. The topics range from scripture study to end-of-life planning and ethics; from learning about our polity to discussing the day's hot theological topics. Join us as you're able - there's no homework or preparation required, and you can come as often as you're able.
NEW: Bible Study on Wednesday evenings at 7pm via Zoom. See our weekly newsletter for the link and the focus of our discussion. Join the conversation and finish with Compline shortly after 8pm.
Weekday learning opportunities:
