Pastoral Care
At All Saints Church our Pastoral Care team takes primary responsibility for supporting and praying for our families and members of our families during good times and during rough times. We support our families when they go through rough patches such as illness, emotional or spiritual distress, job loss and other events. We also celebrate with members of our parish as they celebrate life events such as birthdays, anniversaries, moving to a new home and getting a new job. Our purpose is a celebration of life and the gifts we have received and we invite all who are like-minded to join us in our mission.

Fellowship
All Saints folks love to party with each other. Our main occasions for celebration at the parish are: our annual meeting in January, which is always followed by a luncheon; the close of the "school year" with a parish picnic; the start of the next "school year" with a Kick-off Sunday service followed by a parish picnic and killer Trivial Pursuit authored by our own games masters, and, capping the year, our holiday party in December, which in 2019 featured an appearance by Mrs. Claus herself, along with several reindeer.

In addition to these gatherings, there are regular groups which meet monthly: "Game Night", which meets in the Parish Hall; "Dining Out", which meets monthly at local restaurants. The All Saints Men's Group also meets at local restaurants for monthly for fellowship primarily, but also to plan projects (refreshing the storage shed) or events (the two parish picnics).
Sadly, most of these events have been put on hold due to COVID-19, but the "Dining Out" group just started "Dining In" with a Zoom meeting of everyone in their homes sharing time, if not a meal together. The AS Mens' Group is also trying to meet in member backyards with BYO beverages and food to enable social distancing. Also, this year's Kick-off Sunday featured a socially distanced picnic on the south lawn which was a chance to get together in family groups with other family groups at a safe distance. The traditional game of "Baggo" was still played.

Buildings & Grounds
This team, led by Kent Wilson keeps our facilities in great shape, which is much appreciated by both parishioners and our regular visitors and tenants. Recent upgrade projects included: new boiler for the main church building, new flooring for the sanctuary, and a new fire alarm system which was mandated by the Village of Western Springs. On a routine basis, our sexton, Nancy Schneider, refreshes our spaces with new paint, curtains and artwork to keep it cheery and inviting to all who come to it.
